January 2012 and way beyond.....

It's official, Suti & Andy are leaving after 5 wonderful years to retire to their home in Thailand.

FAREWELL PARTY

"Personal message to all our friends and customers alike".

We both came here 5 years ago with absolutely zero knowledge or understanding of how to run a pub, but we threw ourselves whole heartedly into the challenge and can honestly say we have both experienced success and failure along the way, but now it is time to hand over the baton to a more experienced couple. We have taken the pub as far as our abilities are able and had a wonderful time doing it. We will be moving to Lower Broadheath for a spell but plan to move permanently to our home in Thailand.

It has been one of life's challenges and we both feel the far better for it, it has been a pleasure to meet and serve you all and (including those that didn't take to us) may we both wish you all a long and happy healthy future.

Laura & Nibs take over on the 6th February, they are an enthuastic young couple from Haslemere who originate from Worcester and are returning home to roost. They will make The Masons their home so please give them both the same support you have given us.

Wednesday 25th January - Ray Mytton & Paul White

Ray Mytton and Paul White are both well-known musicians in the area but their duo is more than the sum of its parts, playing anything from The Beatles, Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones to Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton and Free. Ray is an eclectic and highly talented musician with a love of all styles of guitar while Paul is better known as the lead guitarist for local legends ‘The Pewke Band’ and as editor in chief of Sound on Sound magazine. Their choice of music will really amaze you with songs not normally heard at pub venues, such as renditions of Dark Side of the Moon, Freebird, Hendrix and much more.

This will be our

"Farewell Party" so all are welcome for your last opportunity to taste the best Thai food in Worcester.

The Delray Rockets are: "Oz" Osborne, Gaz Le Bass & Duke Delite. They play Kick ass Rock'a'Billy with attitude... Nuff said!!

Laura is a sensational and expressive artist with memorable vocals and super performance skills.
